Close, but not entirely authentic
For what the game is, it's pretty good. As a purist, I have some issues with how the game is implemented.
For a more authentic feel, the change in set decor should be really timed to the years that it actually was used. For example, the newer sets should not be used until later in the 2000s. The 'new' Price is Right set should not be used later in the 1970s era. Some of the incidental music is not used in the proper context (for example the 'C'mon Down' music was different in the early 1970s). Some of the games are hard to play/control (like spinning the Showcase Showdown wheel, Hole in One). A reminder of what year we're in somewhere on-screen would be helpful also.
I have several issues with the Showcase Showdown. If you to match the leader's score in one spin, you are forced to 'spin again' and not given the option to do a spinoff, as in the show. It's not clear how to control the power for spinning the wheel (maybe that's by design). I've seen bugs in the spinning process where it would jump to a value I had already spun past. The proper music cues aren't used in this section either.
The app also occasionally crashes, especially when you win a showcase. It also seems to get stuck when transitioning between segments (e.g. Showcase Showdown versus Showcase).

Constructive criticism
I'm playing on an iPhone 6 for reference. The game is fun, but seems to drag quite a bit at times. The pacing of the game makes it go from enjoyable to frustrating quickly. There are other games that push the envelope further as far as graphics and processing are concerned, but this game has a hard time going from screen to screen without some kind of lengthy delay. Not ideal when you're playing a quick mobile game. Next, the audio is very buggy. For a lot of the games, a description of the product is essential, and almost every time the audio cuts out or just jumps to the next product mid sentence. Not good when you're trying to learn how to play a certain game. Lastly, the bugs and crashes are a killer!! Before writing this, the game was stuck while waiting for another contestant to come down for the bidding. Before that, I won a showcase showdown, and the whole game crashed. I've also noticed that at the big wheel, when it's time to spin, the game can kick into a permafreeze that makes it impossible to spin or continue. Fix these issues and it'd be perfect!
Momma & baby bat
Seems I must now take away 2 stars because the darm thing has crashed & spoiled the enjoyment factor dramatically. RATS! I really enjoyed the game. I could not figure out why there were any poor ratings... Now I know :(
I was not quite what I expected as far as what I know to be accurate pricing for the times in the game... Aside from that I feel like a fool getting all excited over prizes I am not actually winning, but it is fun & I have always wanted to play Plinko & a few other pricing games, which is why I agreed to purchase the app when my daughter requested I do so. I think I have ended up enjoying the darn game more than her. Funny how that works.
